This Photography coverage of the concert took place in ArtHall D12 on Desyatinnaya Street in Kyiv. As an event photographer I shot a concert, musicians and portraits of visitors during the break. Such photos can be used for advertising, social networks and marketing.
For this event photography coverage I used several lenses. To photograph visitors I used a softbox and flash on a special hand-held tripod.

I like to shoot concerts. This time I tried to find the best angles for shooting musicians. Classical music has its advantages – they are mostly in one place and do not move often. So it’s easier for a event photographer to find the right frame.
During event I photograph individuals interacting with each other and music on the stage. Venue and event photography are also included wherever possible to emphasize a sense of place.
In each photography event coverage I try to get maximum variety of frames – from wide views of the place, to medium and close-ups photographs. I also photograph details. It is never known which photo from the event is best for an advertising or social network.

Event photography needs special photographic equipment and skills. Event photographer needs a balance, needs to be very quick to retouch photos – sometimes during shooting. For this photo shoot such efficiency was not needed, so the finished photos were ready in 1 day.
Portraits of visitors during break
In addition to photojournalist coverage I also offer on-site portraits of the guests. I do it with special equipment – softbox and speedlight. As an event photographer I try to capture guests at their best. And as a photojournalist, I’ll never interrupt the flow of the event.
